As a poetry lover, this piece of information has been enlightening. And indeed, the repetition of the very same lines, the way they evoke a different feeling every single time…is that just…incredible? Breathtaking?
Now, I’ve taken poetry in school before, of course, but I’ve never once heard of the triolet. But now that I’ve read this article, I’m starting to think that it’s a serious crime against humanity to not place this into the curriculum. Seriously, more people need to know about this beautiful art.
